Frequently Asked Questions

  • What Insurance Do You Have?

We participate with most insurance carriers.  Please contact your insurance company directly to determine if our providers are in-network.

We do not participate with  Humana Healthy Horizons Medicaid MCO plan at this time.

  • Where Do We Call After Hours?

We have a physician on call 24/7/365.  Call the main office number, and our answering service will connect you with a pediatric registered nurse.  If needed, the nurse can page the doctor on call.   Please save routine questions (mild illness, appointments, prescription refills) for the morning. We encourage you to refer to our website first, when practical, before calling the office.

  • Who Do We Call In Case Of Emergencies?

If an emergency should arise, please call 911. Emergencies are considered to be those conditions that are life-threatening: loss of consciousness, severe bleeding, seizure, etc. In the case of minor emergencies (lacerations, cuts, mild fractures, sprains), please call our office first for instructions.

  • What Is Your Well Child Visit Schedule?

To keep your children healthy, it is important to bring them in for regular checkups. We recommend that you call our office 2 weeks in advance so you may choose the date that best fits your needs.

For children over 3 years of age, you can also visit our patient portal to schedule well visits

See our full well-child visit schedule.

  • What If Appointments Are Running Late?

Occasionally, despite our best efforts, we may run late. We will keep you informed so that you have the option of rescheduling your appointment or seeing another provider, if available.

  • Do You Take Same Day Sick Appointments?

We make every effort to schedule appointments for ill children on the day that you call us. Please call our office ahead of time so that we can minimize the time that you will spend waiting. If you have a medical emergency during office hours, we will do our best to see your child immediately or refer you to the appropriate facility.
